The Moment of Unmasking
In John 8:44, Jesus declared to the Pharisees:
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.”
And in Matthew 23:33:
“Serpents! Brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?”
These were not mere insults but a spiritual diagnosis—the revelation of their hidden ancestry beneath the cloak of religion.
The Seed from the Beginning
Genesis 3:15 announces enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Humanity is split into two lineages:
-
Bearers of the divine spark.
-
Bearers of rebellion and lies.
Cain himself is seen as the first to manifest this serpent-lineage (1 John 3:12).
The Pharisees Beyond the Flesh
Though they claimed descent from Abraham, Jesus revealed that their soul was aligned with another father. Religious in words, but children of the serpent in spirit.
The Dragon’s Lineage
Revelation 12:9 identifies the dragon as the “ancient serpent.”
-
Literal: Hybrids such as the Nephilim (Gen. 6).
-
Spiritual: Those who carry the pattern of hatred, lies, and violence.
Both lineages share the same DNA of rebellion against the Logos.
Falling Masks
In the presence of the true Light, all their masks fell. What men could not see, Jesus unveiled: the seed of the dragon in their spirit.
