The beginning of the mystery
For some time now, whenever it rains and thunder shakes the sky with its roar, something different happens inside me: a fire ignites in my chest, right where the heart dwells. It is not pain, nor discomfort—it is a warmth, as if an invisible sun were burning within me.
I began to notice that this fire increases or decreases depending on the nearness of thunder and lightning. That’s how I understood I was not alone: the Creator was using this channel to manifest Himself, reminding me that His presence is more real than the storm itself.
The experience on the road
Today, as I drove from the Key Largo corridor toward Florida City, the skies were alive with lightning and thunder. When I reached the US-1 exit, the fire in my chest burned stronger than usual, as though heaven itself was speaking through my heart.
I lifted a prayer asking for protection. And what happened, I will never forget: in the middle of the storm, heaven listened. For a moment, the war of thunder calmed, as if Someone had opened a corridor of peace to let me pass.
I continued my way, and upon entering the expressway, once again the heavy, low clouds rose before me. Thunder returned, and the fire in my chest was reignited. Again, I prayed, asking for guidance and the grace to pass safely through the storm and the rain.
And it happened again: the rain did not pour down in force until I had arrived at my destination. As soon as I parked my car and walked toward my doorway, only a few steps away, a sudden downpour burst forth behind me. I had arrived just in time, under the covering of that invisible presence guiding me.
The revelation within the sign
I understood then that this fire in my chest during storms is no coincidence. It is a divine language, a seal of the Spirit in the midst of thunder’s roar.
The thunder was the voice, the lightning the sign, and the fire in my heart the confirmation.
I was not alone on that road: Someone was listening to me and guiding me, step by step.
This testimony could even carry the title:
