The Dream of the Black Dragon Flying Over Cuba
On one occasion, I had a dream that had a profound impact on me. I dreamed of my homeland, Cuba, and saw a black dragon flying over the island, as if it were controlling it from above. The figure of the dragon was imposing, casting a shadow that covered the Cuban landscape. Its presence was both intimidating and mysterious, like a force that dominated the island, perhaps symbolizing the power or influence that has marked the history of this place.
On another occasion, I had a vision while awake. I looked at the Malecón in Havana, but this time it was full of shops and street vendors. Vendors offered all kinds of products, from crafts to food. There was an air of novelty and hope in the scene, as if the creativity and entrepreneurial effort of Cubans had transformed that iconic space into a place of prosperity and economic activity.
